Why I Love this card

If you're a foodie, this is the card for you. Amex GOLD gives you 4x points for every dollar you spend at resturaunts, grocery stores, and any other merchant thats codes as food. This adds up REAL fast. If you regularly shop for your family, a modest $150 a week at the grocery store will earn you 30k points a year, just for those grocery store visits.

Why I DON'T Love this card

It's annual fee of $325 a year is a little steep, and the requirement to spend $8,000 in 6 months to get the SIgnup Bonus is just too much for most people. However if you have a big purchase already planned, this card might be for you.
